Charlie was born on Feb. 20, 1929 in Chicago, the son of Herbert and Ruth Turnquist.

Charlie was the best father and grandfather a family could ask for.  The way he lived and conducted himself in life continues to be an inspiration to his beloved daughters, his sons-in-law and, even more so, to his grandsons who adore him.
