To the family of Julius Musolf

A sad day to hear of the passing of Julius. My condolences to the immediate family and also to my own family of which Julius was a long time friend and relative.
Julius was a person of great character to which a great deal of respect should be given.
In the fifties and early sixty's Julius was doing his photography work at Werkema Studios in the Saginaw/Bay City area and often talked about it at family events in Tawas. Julius was the family photographer with big white and blue flashbulbs, I recall as a teenager.
His conversations were interesting to me, and later I took his lead and acquired a Brownie Hawkeye camera complete with a flash attachment and little M2 flashbulbs.
I turned that camera over to the museum in Tawas and later followed along his footsteps with plans to leave a photo history trail behind as Julius has done.

From my much younger years, Julius took great interest in me and us, as kids. We were important to him. This was a notable personal characteristic that follows me to this day and as I write this note.
Julius provided a unique and keen interest as he composed the photo-shot of family virtues. And to this day, I look back over my shoulder in fond remembrance as we page through our family reminder photos, with each one reflecting his strong family interest that continued until November 22nd, this year.
This was just one of many of his characteristics that was easy for me to recall. The other was his indelible care and loving interest for Janet and their children.
With all of this being said, Julius can now take our past with him to the life hereafter, of which I am told is rather good.

As we continue our footsteps forward we know that losing someone we love or care about is nothing easy. May each fond memory of Julius bring you comfort during this hard time in your life.
Enthusiastically, look back on all the good memories that we have shared and smile at the fact, "we were together" to share in the life of Julius.
As I write this note, I share deeply in the loss and sadness but my remembrances continue strong.
Our hearts and prayers go out to you, our family and friends.

Tom Musolf and my wife of forty seven years, Sharon Ann
