Agnes T. Paul

TRAVERSE CITY — Agnes Theresa Paul, 76, of Traverse City, passed away Thursday, July 24, 2014 at Grand Traverse Pavilions.

Agnes was born on Oct. 19, 1937 in Elk Rapids, the daughter of Eddie Anderson and Lena Williams.

Agnes enjoyed being a homemaker and loved to cook for her family and friends. She was a member of the Grand Traverse Band and enjoyed crocheting, crafts, Bingo, and working on puzzles. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Agnes is survived by her daughters, Lena Smith, Rose (William) Marshall, and Lisa (Donald) Smith-Leaureaux; eight grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and many loving nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her sons, John Aneweshki Smith, Jr. and Edward Smith.

The funeral service will be held on Monday, July 28 at 1 p.m. at the Kewadin Indian Mission Pavilion with a visitation held two hours prior. Burial will follow at the Kewadin Indian Mission Cemetery. Pastor Tom John will officiate.
