Barbara M. M^cSauby

Died January 30, 2015

PESHAWBESTOWN – Barbara Marie M^cSauby, 80, of Peshawbestown, passed away Jan. 30, 2015 at Munson Medical Center.

  Barbara was born on Feb. 10, 1934 in Peshawbestown, the daughter of Enos Joseph and Helen Agnes (Blackman) M^cSawby.  She married Oliver John M^cSauby at St. Alphonsus Church in Grand Rapids.  He preceded her in death on Sept. 13, 1985.

  Barbara’s pride and joy were her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and her work.  She worked in Parks & Recreation for the city of Grand Rapids.  She earned a CDL and moved to Road Maintenance.

  Barbara is survived by her children, Jeanette (Bill) Schwandt, John Oliver (Beverly) M^cSauby, James Anthony M^cSauby, Thomas Alan (Mary) M^cSauby, Richard J. M^cSauby, Mary-Jo M^cSauby, and Barbara Hudson; a sister, Mary Anne (Jerry) Roberts; 20 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren.

  In addition to her husband, Barbara was preceded in death by a son, Michael M^cSauby; siblings, Hazel, D. Lorraine, and A. Homer.

  The funeral mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, Feb. 3, 2015 at 11 a.m. at Kateri Tekakwitha Catholic Church in Peshawbestown with a visitation held 2 hours prior to the service.  Rev. John Greene will serve as celebrant.
