NORTHPORT - Burial in Leelanau
Township Cemetery was held Nov. 7 for Norman E. Wollenweber Jr., formerly of
Northport, who died Nov. 2 in Fort Worth, Texas at the age of 77.
Norman was born May
23, 1938 the son of Norman and Violet (Clausen) Wollenweber. After graduating Northport High School Norm
served in the U.S. Army. Afterwards he
worked for American Airlines as a crew chief retiring after 29 years of
service.
Norman is survived by
his wife, Glenda; three children, Michelle Sullivan, Eric Wollenweber, Nicole
Wollenweber; his siblings, Charlene (Max) Bidwell, Bette Lou (Richard) Bastian,
Ronald (Sharon Kay) Wollenweber, William (Suzanne) Wollenweber and many nieces
and nephews.
He was preceded in
death by his parents, a son, Gregory Wollenweber and a sister Karen Justine
Wollenweber.
