Please accept my condolences on the passing of a great lady. She did my hair for years and every visit was a real adventure and a treat for me. She had the ability to make a day brighter, and to enliven most situations. She was generous, kind, morally strong, and so proud of her wonderful family. I suspect that Heaven is now a much livelier (and better looking) place now that she has arrived. She lived and long and meaningful life filled with kindness, generosity, faith, and a loving family. She will be missed, but we can all be grateful to have known her. Thank you. Mary Frixen

Edna served as hairdresser for several years at our assisted living facilities in Traverse City, Woodside Independent Living and Southridge Assisted facility. She had such an upbeat, cheerful disposition and a positive attitude about life. We can still hear her little giggle and see the sparkle in her eyes. May she rest in peace while she styles the celestial hair of the angels! God bless and keep her, and her family.
