Sandy - a wonderful treat to have in our neighborhood and community. Quiet spoken, loved his family and his pets. He loved walking his new doggie, Brandie. Looked forward to our fun conversations walking our pets. Will miss you Sandy. Thank you for brightening the world. RIP. Love, prayers and thoughts of sympathy to loved ones.

Dr. Kushner was the first physician I saw after moving to Suttons Bay. He was so kind, very knowledgeable and patient. Very easy to talk to because he would just sit back and really listen. I had some other occasions to visit his office and he always took as much time as needed and never made me feel rushed or hurried to see the next patient. He always made sure I understood everything he told me and patiently answered all my questions. He was an excellent physician and will be sorely missed. RIP Dr. Kushner. So sorry Kathy and family for your loss.

Over the past five years or so, it was our pleasure to have known Sandy, primarily as a fellow tennis enthusiast. But from that modest exposure, we found him to be an exceptionally warm and considerate man. We also were fortunate to share a memorable sunny afternoon sailing with Sandy and Kathy on his beloved Celestial. Despite this limited contact, he left a deep and positive impression on both of us.
Our sincere condolences to Kathy and all the others he left behind.

  4. I am very sorry to learn of the loss of Mr. Kushner. I hope a passage at Revelation 21:4 brings comfort where it says, "and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore." Your family will be in my prayers.
