Living across the street from Max and Emma, I have fond memories of them sitting on their front porch. As we would check our mail they would call out, "Thanks for being our neighbor!" They were always so kind. The same warmth and kindness is apparent in the rest of the Popps.
ReplyDeleteEver since I was a child, we always referred to Lingaur Road as Max Popp Hill. It's a beautiful walk all four seasons of the year, from the bottom of Lingaur Road up to Popp Road. To me, and to my children, the hill will forever be Max Popp Hill.
Max and Emma, thank you for being my neighbor!

Maximilian Popp is,was my dearly beloved Grandfather. We almost always brought him a puzzle at the rehabilitation center he was at. He loved puzzles so much one time he started a 1,000 piece puzzle in the morning and we came to see him and he had around 50 pieces done.I didn't Know his wife at allbecause we never visited until Emma died.
