Wayne Arthur Goodfallow, of Lake Leelanau, passed away Friday, August 10, 2018 in the company of his loved ones in Traverse City, MI.
Wayne was born in Detroit, MI on December 30, 1954, to William Arthur and Betty Jane (Murray) Goodfallow, both deceased.
Wayne honorably served his country in the US Air Force in the 1970’s. Wayne owned a construction business and had a passion for woodworking, especially fine finished carpentry work. He was an avid boater and loved spending time on the Great Lakes, especially with his children. His happiest memories were shared with his children and grand-children, whom he loved dearly.  Every day was an adventure for Wayne.  He had an infectious smile and the kindest of hearts.
Wayne is survived by his loving wife, Jeanne A Merica-Goodfallow, a sister, Nancy Perzanowski (Alfred), a brother, Douglas Goodfallow, a brother-in-law, Stanley Olson; four children, Regan M Jahns (Matt), Jessica A Goodfallow, Jacquelyn A Goodfallow, and Victoria A Goodfallow; four grand-children, Alexandra, Riley, Mason, and Miles; 9 nieces and nephews, Rebecca Locke (David), Thomas Perzanowski, Laura Ruban (Sean), Michael Perzanowski, David Perzanowski, Elizabeth Perzanowski, and Jennifer Perzanowski, Jeremy Olson, and Jakob Olson; 9 great nieces and nephews, Benjamin, Kate, Trevor, Evey, Kara, Nolan, Natalie, Hannah, and Penelope.
Wayne was preceded in death by a sister, Cynthia Anne Olson, a nephew, Bradley James Perzanowski.
A viewing for Wayne will be held on Wednesday, August 15 from 5-8 pm with rosary at 7pm. Services will be held on Thursday, August 16 at 1 pm, with family and friends gathering at noon for a final viewing. Both to be held at Martinson’s Funeral Home in Suttons Bay, MI.
