  1. I will always remember Greg for being fun to be with. He was one of my classmates from kindergarten through high school graduation. We were part of the elite group "the Hole in the Wall Gang" in high school and for whatever reason, had decided to call each other by our names spelled backwards. The only one that really clicked was Greggy Pooh and so he became Hoopy Gerg!
I would have liked to attend the celebration of his life today and shared in your memories of him. Please know that I'm praying for peace and strength for the family as you say Good Bye today and send greetings from Fairview Class of 71.

We are grateful for the help Greg gave us when we bought our home in Leelanau. He was always fair, reliable, and conscientious. At times he went above and beyond to complete his job. During an especially bad storm , he crawled over downed trees to enter our home to start a fire in our wood stove when the power was out to prevent our pipes from freezing when we were away. He provided us advice that saved us a lot of time and money when our basement leaked. He was very proud of his son and daughter and shared their graduation pictures which he carried and his hopes for their future. He always spoke with admiration about his wife Pam. We pray for peace for his family. Sincerely, Ron and Kathy Baker
