PESHAWBESTOWN – Sherman James Mashka, Makoons, 38, of Peshawbestown, passed away Saturday, May 23, 2020 in Peshawbestown.

Sherman was born Dec. 10, 1981 in Grand Rapids, the son of Wendland White and Elaine Mashka.

He enjoyed life and had a smile that would light up a room.  He was the life of the party, and if there was no party, Sherman would make his own.  He dearly loved babies, and all of his nieces and nephews.

Sherman is survived by his father, Wendland, four children, Raymond, Aiden, Michael and Gabriel; and his siblings, Brian Nelis, Andrew, Nelis, Michael Medawis, Curtis White, Martin Garcia, Zachary Hartlev, Nicholas Hartlev, Stormy Windancer Doan and Serena White and many loving extended family members.

He was preceded in death by his mother Elaine, and a sister, Sheena.

Private family burial in Hillcrest Cemetery, Omena, has been held.
