Bonnie M. Palmer
Bonnie McIntosh Palmer, 84, of Traverse City, passed away peacefully on September 24, 2020 at Culver Meadows Nursing Home.
Bonnie was born August 26, 1936 in Detroit, Michigan, the daughter of Edward and Peggy McIntosh. Bonnie spent many summers in Leland with her children. She raised her family in New Jersey before returning to Michigan to enjoy retirement.
Bonnie was very active in the Catholic church. She was an avid swimmer and bowler. You would often see her walking along M22 in her pink hat with her dog, Daisy.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Kelly Barnes; and her two brothers, William McIntosh and James McIntosh. She is survived by her daughters, Bridget Konkle (Lincoln), Susan Paynter (Glenn); son, Andrew Palmer (Cara); sister, Mary Kaylor; seven grandchildren, and four great grandchildren.
Services were privately held.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her name, to Cherryland Humane Society.
