I met Clint in the early 70's when he played baseball in high school for Leland and I for Glen Lake. We continued to compete against one another after school as we played Independent League baseball on Sunday's. Clint played for Leland and I for Cedar. I did have the pleasure to play on the same team as Clint. As we got older we played together for a local softball team in Cedar when our schedule's and now our families permitted. Our paths did cross from time to time as he was a Deputy with Leelanau County Sheriffs Dept. and I am on Cedar Area Fire & Rescue. The last time I saw Clint he gave a tour to Glen Lake student's of the jail, dispatch center and governmental building. He was very professional in uniform on the field or as a deputy. I am honored to have known Clint and to call him a friend. He will be missed. Rest in peace my friend. My deepest sympathy to Richard III, Kaitlin, Kelly, Karen and Kathy.

I had the pleasure of officiating high school basketball & baseball for many years with Clint. He was always very professional in both his job & reffing duties. We had not seen each other lately, but when we did the stories would fly. My condolences to his family.

Dear Clint Kerr Family, On behalf of my family, I want to extend my deepest sympathies to all of you. Clint was a tremendous man in so many ways. I have had the privilege of knowing Clint for over 20 years through sports. Clint worked some of my games in high school and then I had the privilege to work with Clint when I started officiating. Clint and the Traverse City asssociation was the first asssociation I joined and learned from. Clint was a tremendous official with a tremendous reputation but he was an even better friend. Please remember this is not good bye, but WE SEE YOU SOON Clint! Love, Thoughts, and Prayers: John Sandlin and Family
