BINGHAM TOWNSHIP
– Ledema Idessa Oding, 97, of Bingham Township, passed away Saturday, Nov. 15,
2014 at Munson Hospice House surrounded by loving family. Ledema was born on Dec. 13, 1916 in Bingham
Twp., the daughter of Otto and Luella (Crothers) Boone. On July 3, 1937 in Lansing
She was a loving
mother and grandmother with many friends and thoughtful relatives. During her life, she embraced a faith of
forgiveness and love giving her and others the gift of peace and comfort.
Ledema is survived by her sons, William C.
(Marilyn) Oding of Lansing, and John C. Oding of Traverse City; grandchildren,
Thomas (Lauralie) Oding, Andrew (Rachel) Oding, and Sara (Jason) Moore; ten
great grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren.
In addition to
her husband, Ledema was preceded in death by her siblings, Claude (Rhea) Boone,
Hope (Walt) Durga, Arnold (Gladys) Boone, Avis (Jim) Allison, Velma (Fred) Oding,
Birdie (Frank) Winowiecki, and Kenneth (Marie) Boone.
Visitation will
be held on Wednesday, Nov. 19 from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Martinson Funeral Home of
Suttons Bay. The funeral service will be
held on Thursday, Nov. 20 at 1 p.m. also at the funeral home. Burial will be held on Friday, Nov. 21 at 1
p.m. at Wacousta Cemetery
Memorials may be
directed to Munson Hospice House or to a Hospice of choice.

At such times of sorrow we may ask, "Will I ever see or embrace my loved one again?" Jesus answers at John 11:11-44 saying: "Lazarus! Come on out!" And he did.
Patiently waiting for all those in the memorial tombs to hear Jesus' voice and come on out.
May we all be there to welcome them back to a beautiful earthly paradise that God promised. - Psalm 37:29; Revelation 21:3-5; Isaiah 65:17-22
