TRAVERSE CITY – Peggy Jean Rocha, 56, of Traverse City, passed away Sunday, Oct. 2, 2016 at Spectrum Heath Hospital of Grand Rapids.

  Peggy was born July 6, 1960 in Traverse City the daughter of Carl and Julia (Mashka) Raphael.  On 1994, in Northport she married Bruce R. Rocha who preceded her in death on Feb. 9, 2013.

  Peggy was a caring and accepting of others.  She was always full of smile and laughter.  She was always a mother and grandmother to all of her family’s little ones.  Her and Bruce had a household that loved the company of family and all the little ones where always there.  She was a beloved mother, grandmother and auntie to her family.

  Peggy is survived by her three children, LaShon Raphael, Leticia Rocha and Rafael Rocha; her siblings, Mary Hawley, Clayton Raphael, Wanda Raphael, Debra Raphael, Paul Raphael, Robbin Raphael; two grandchildren, Zion Raphael, Rickey Raphael; her loving dog / daughter, Neisha Brown Raphael and many loving extended family.

  The funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 8 at the Martinson Funeral Home of Suttons Bay with the family greeting friends one hour prior to the service.   Burial will follow in Kateri Tekakwitha Cemetery, Peshawbestown.
