Rosemary F. Antoine
Died January 1, 2017
PESHAWBESTOWN –
Rosemary Fay Antoine, 62, of Peshawbestown, passed away Sunday, Jan. 1, 2017 at
Munson Medical Center.
Rosemary was born Nov. 8, 1954 in Newberry
the daughter of Jack H Chambers and Rose Marie (Wabsey) Chambers. On June 5, 1997 at Peterson Park of Northport
she married Thomas M. Antoine, who survives.
Rosemary loved to knit, creating hats,
scarves, dish clothes, etc. She would
knit items and package them up and donate them to school children. Rosemary loved to fish and tend to her
garden. She had a green thumb and could
grow anything.
She loved to feed the birds at her house and
loved to shop; especially at the thrift stores.
Rosemary could shop for hours, she would jokingly call it “junkin.” She enjoyed a walk in the woods and her family
gathered together at cook outs. Rosemary
was especially proud of being an Odawa woman.
Rosemary is survived by her husband of
nineteen years, Thomas; her children, Desmond (Anita) Berry, Thomas M. Antoine
Jr., her father, Jack Chambers; her siblings, Jack (Linda) Chambers, James
(Audrey) Chambers, Joseph Chambers; and her grandchildren, Angelica, Joey, Brandon,
Kristen, Kaleb, Aiden and Noah.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Rose
Marie.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, Jan. 5
from 3 p.m. until the 5 p.m. funeral service at the Martinson Funeral Home of Suttons Bay. Mr. Joseph Mitchell will officiate. Burial in Forest Home Cemetery in Newberry
will be held in the Spring.
