Juanita B. Sundal, age 73, a resident of Homer Glen, IL, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 16, 2018 at Loyola Medical Center, with her family and friends, Pastor Mark and Donna Hein, at her side.

Juanita was an active member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Lockport. She enjoyed gardening and spending time with her family and friends.

Beloved wife of Inderjit Sundal; loving mother of Sheelah (James) Hanson and Aleesha (John) Kennedy; dear sister of Merrill (Phyllis) Johnson, Geri (late Rev. Charles) Pool, and Alvera (Rev. Bernie) Filbert; also survived by numerous loving nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Hans and Alice (Johnson) Johnson, and a sister, Patricia (late Frank) Frisk.

Funeral services were held at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, IL, on Saturday, October 20, 2018.  Graveside services will be held at Suttons Bay Lutheran Cemetery at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, October 24.
