- Gary Allan Oskaboose 70, of Peshawbestown,
walked on Monday, October 8, 2018 at Munson Medical Center in Traverse City.
Gary
was born November 8, 1947, in Holland the son of Russell Albert Oskaboose and
Mable Katherine (White Pigeon) Perkins.
Gary
loved meeting people, he had a great sense of humor and loved to smile at
everyone. Gary did not have children of
his own, but he loved to make all his nieces and nephews laugh. He loved puzzles and riding his bike. He was the oldest brother of 10 siblings.
Gary
is survived by two sisters Mary Ann Antoine of Peshawbestown, Debra Jean
Perkins of Manistee; two brothers, William Ray Oskaboose of Scottville, Scott
Anthony (Gail) Perkins of Traverse City; nine nieces, Denise Speer, Karen
Oskaboose, Pamela Antoine, Heather Antoine, Dawn (Mike) Penman, Stacy Speer,
Michelle Oskaboose, Nicole Perkins, Karrie Shostak; 12 nephews, Jeffory Speer, Douglas “Jon”
Speer, Gregory Antoine, Richard Oskaboose, Daniel Irish, Mark Irish, Justin
(Katie) Garn, David Shostak, Andrew Perkins, Anthony (Cassandra) Shostak,
William (Gemini) Oskaboose, Joshua Perkins, John Oskaboose, and several great
nieces and great nephews.
He
was preceded in death by his parents, his sisters Cheryl Lynn Oskaboose,
Virginia Kathryn Speer, Delores Clara Oskaboose and Joni Lynn Jones; one
brother Micheal Peter; four uncles, Joe Fisher, Calvin White Pigeon, Edward
White Pigeon and Howard White Pigeon; one aunt, Virginia White Pigeon and his grandparents,
William and Clara White Pigeon.
Private
family services have been held in Riverside Cemetery, Hamilton.
In
lieu of flowers, Gary’s family asks that you help an elder today.
