TRAVERSE CITY - Robby Walter Stern, 62, of Traverse
City, passed away Monday, October 1, 2018 at home.
Robby was born May 12, 1956 in
Minneapolis, Minnesota the son of Robert Sylvester Stern and Kathleen Mary
(Moore) Stern.
Robby had a big heart and did what-ever
he had to do for his family. He was the
“Robin Williams” of his family. Very
social, very funny and silly, Robby loved to make others laugh. He was always tinkering with computers, he
could take one out of the garbage and repair it to better than new.
Robby is survived by his children,
Amber (Joshua) Stern-Phillips, Anastasia (David) Kolliker, Kathleen (James
Flannery) Stern, Robert Stern; their mother Sidonia Eshleman-Stern; his
siblings, Colleen Whetstone, Darlene Tolber, Rick Stern; his grandchildren,
Victoria Stern, Nathan Phillips, Wesley and Cecilia Flannery; and many loving
nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his
parents and his sister Pamela Cartwright.
Private family services have been held.
