Deanna L. Fredrickson

Died October 7, 2013

 

NORTHPORT – Deanna Lynn Fredrickson, 38, of Northport, died Monday, Oct. 7, 2013 at her home.

  Deanna was born April 16, 1975 in Garden City the daughter of Brian John Hart and Donna Gayle McCoy.  On Feb. 8, 1999 in Traverse City she married Gregory Robert Fredrickson.

  Dee enjoyed spending time with her family, friends and children.  She loved animals, being out in nature and deer hunting in fall.  Dee also enjoyed camping, riding motorcycles, snowmobiles, racing cars, helping on the family farm.  She also enjoyed poetry, reading books and drawing.

  Deanna is survived by her husband, Gregory; their daughter, Elizabeth Eileen Fredrickson, their son, Davis Brian John Fredrickson, and a step son, Grant Robert Fredrickson; her parents, Brian and Donna; her two brothers, Douglas (Shannon) Borkowski, Brian (Julia) Hart; a nephew and niece, Douglas and Riley Dawn Borkowski; loving aunts, uncles and cousins, as well as her parent-in-laws, Gary and Carol Fredrickson; brother-in-law Nels, (Katherine) Fredrickson; their sons, Owen and Tristan; and a sister-in-law, Christine Fredrickson and fiancé Matthew Vipond.

  She was preceded in death by her sister, Dawnette Hart.

  The funeral service will be at 3 p.m. on held Friday, Oct. 11 with visitation one hour prior at the Martinson Funeral Home of Suttons Bay.  Burial will be held at a later date in Leelanau Township Cemetery.  The Rev. Dr. Robin Long will officiate.

  Memorials may be directed to a charity of one’s choice.
